Senator Howard Stephenson (ret.) was in the Utah Senate for 26 years.  In addition to being the head of the Utah Taxpayers Association, he was the legislature's champion for education having been responsible for charter schools, early learning and the Digital Teaching and Learning initiatives, to name just a few.  Howard now sits on several national education board and is on the speakers tour speaking to state boards of education, educators and legislators around the country.
