Having begun his career in the federal government under Gerald Ford with service through George W. Bush, Fritz used his Ph.D. in the politics of education to guide and influence national education policy as a career civil servant.  He has views that may be of particular interest given the incoming administration's stated objective of returning education to the individual states.
