My background is in clean products, These mainly consist of Gasoline, Diesel and Jet fuel. Working for the refinery, I would be able to discuss our Salt Lake city assets, Pipelines and sales as well.

 

Tesoro is a fortune 100 company based in San Antonio, Texas. We have 7 refineries based mostly on the west Coast. In 2002 Tesoro purchased The Salt Lake City & Mandan, ND. sister Refineries from BP and these 2 would be considered our only inland properties.   Funny thing is we have absolutely no Refining or retail Operations in Texas. Just a large headquarters.

 

Tesoro has very few Retail sites with the Tesoro Brand/ Treasure burst. What we have done is purchased refinery assets from Shell and Arco. With these purchases, we have either gained the right or outright purchased the name to Brand stores Shell or Arco and most recently Exxon & Mobil. So if you see a Shell, Tesoro , Exxon or Mobil site in the mtn Region, more than likely it was branded by my group.

 

Pipelines, Tesoro purchased the Northwest pipeline assets from Chevron back in 2012. This consisted of a gathering station in Salt lake along with 2 pipelines that head into Idaho and end in Washington state. This purchase was made by our logistics group TLLP.  The pipeline also has Storage and terminals in Pocatello, Burley and Boise, Idaho. Pasco and Spokane, Washington.
