Ari Herbert serves as Special Counsel in the Texas Attorney General’s Office. He’s part of the Special Litigation Unit—Texas’s trial team for constitutional and politically sensitive cases. Ari has written in several academic journals, including the Michigan Law Review online edition. Previously, Ari practiced at one of the top law firms, and he clerked for Judge Don R. Willett on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ari holds a J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas, and a B.A. from William & Mary. His parents, Billie and Keith, are LSDM members and long-standing Park City part-timers.
